Dear Parents,

I would like to introduce to you our Scholastic Book Club. I am sure many of you are familiar with this program as your child has received the Scholastic Book Club flyer in the past. We would like to offer this school wide on a more consistent basis this year to help parents have more age appropriate books available for their children at reasonable prices. As a librarian and parent, I have seen how important it is to read to our children. I have read countless studies on this topic and personally have seen children blossom through the power of reading. I am sure you know this already, but sometimes we all get caught up in the daily struggle of making a living and forget about that story we are asked to listen to or read. I would like to send you one of these flyers every month for you to look through, and hopefully make purchases for your child. Please know there is no obligation.
